Default rod/stroke ratio questions about b16

i have been thinking of differnt ways to get better ratio's out or the b16 i came up with two idea's, let me know what you guys think.

1: being a b17 crank 81.4mm stroke and b16 rods 134.4mm which would be a 1.65:1 ratio, i know the b16 rods are 2.5mm longer then the stock b17 rods.

2: using a ls rods 137mm and b16 crank 77.4mm which would have a 1.77:1 ratio, and the ls rods are 2.6mm longer then the b16.

so my question is how high can we move the rist pin up on a b16 piston with OUT going into the oil control ring and having to use a botton, like the tech43 kit. any comments or thoughts and help is great thanks

Give JE or CP a call.Depending on valve pocket size a 1" compression height is doable.

sweet thats good to know, thanks. but i am really wondering how much i can move the rist pin up before having to use a button? any one know i think it would be nice doing a lil bigger stroke and keeping the longer b16 rods. thanks again
