suspension and chasis bracing
ok, so i am after a seabring silver s2k.. and i would like to do suspension/bracing mods.. and i read in another thread that a front strut bar won't do ****.. so my question is, from wanting to make it a weekend track car.. what suspension/bracing mods will work or are the best..
People bash Mugen/Spoon/Amuse and so what brands are worth the money?

Yeah, I'm sure you got back a bunch of threads that say somthing along the lines of "Yeah, I'm going to get an S2000 in XX days. What's the best [insert a mod here]?"
And 99% of those guys still haven't bought their S2000's.
All I was saying was, get the car, then judge for yourself if it needs beefing up. Maybe you'll see differently once you get the car and ride in it. If you really would like to do some research, go to s2ki.com. They've got more info in the archives.

what wrong about it?? it's pretty simple...
you dont' know what you need till you've tracked the car... then you'll know what you need to imporve on.... why get something now if it's not gonna help you on the track (it's just a waste of money)......
1. buy the car
2. drive the car
3. take a performance driving class
4. take it to the track a couple of times
5. come here and ask questions about your concerns in the handling
6. improve the things you want to change on the car to better your lap times

You should buy suspension braces and other suspension components depending on your driving style. Its mainly do you want understeer, neutral, or oversteer. The only way to figure out which style suits you is to test out the stock suspension. I would suggest at least 4-5 track days before modding the suspension. Reasoning is that mods are supposed to make you faster. In the world of "racing," theres more room in driver improvement than suspension (which can only do so much). I hope you understand

I didn't mean to sound overly n00b. I was just curious because i know there is always room for improvment on both the driver and the car.. Thanks tho' I will take her to the track and see what I can do. She is already a great ride, and it's good around street corners.. but i figured you guys would have some keen advise.
either way, thanks again

With this car, its better to track before modding. Other lower end cars, it may seem necessary to mod. This is one thats needs nothing until you can outdrive it in stock form
