If i were to add a few internals like the crower 403s into it with the valve train the regular intake head exhaust with old school skunk2 intake manifold... will it still pass smog... I'm in washington... and the one i go to doesn't give a **** about under hood inspection and just cares if it's smog legal really... and if they do there wouldn't be much to check *hence the old school skunk2 [not the pro series]* so can I??

 

make sure its tuned before you take it in, and it never hurts to slip the guy some extra money if you dont pass. why dont you just put the stuff in after the smog check... just an idea

 

just tune it nice and lean, even think about turning off vtec, and set a rev limiter at like 6000, it may help (if you are chipped and programming)

a cat. in good shape helps a lot, too. ecu tuning, though, is pretty key. i can assume that you're replacing the basics while you do this too- plugs, dizzy, wires, etc. every little bit helps.
