Have to pay to play. Power doesn't come cheap, esp. if you going NA.

Honda heads generally flow very well as-is.

To make the most hp from a NA car would need a significant amount of head work. The head can make or break the car. Port jobs are not a thousand dollars. They are alot less, it all depends who you go through, and what kind of connections you have. The guys over at Highend Autosports hooked me up. They're in Azusa. The owner Mike got my head done through JG and we flowed with great numbers. IT is essential that you find a person that really knows that theyre doing, so i suggest you take your time picking come one. If anything Hit up mike hell give you suggestions.

Yes, but careless porting can lead to less flow.

On that thought...

I have ported many V8 MOPAR heads, but no Honda heads... Where is a good place to get templates for say... a D16Z head? I want to do some cuttin'!

Your friend plays too much Gran Turismo. With high compression and the big cams that accompany it, you need to move more air for top end power. Everything works together, and head porting can lose power if done wrong, or give MUCH more than 5 hp if done right.
