I have to replace my ignition,(95-lx, auto) switch is bad, key gets stuck half the time, doesn't turn half the time, stops half way etc.... I received the new factory replacement part, looks pretty straight forward to put in. I was wondering if there are any hidden secrets I should know about or hang ups I could anticipate? Thanks in advance for your input .

 

I don't think that there are any secrets, but you may have your battery disconnected while doing the work just in case!

 

Yeah it is pretty easy to install. No real secrets.... Just remember that your ignition key will be different that your door and trunk key now.

That's true and I disconnect my Air Bag as well. There are some rivets on both sides of the ignition that you may have trouble removing but other than that it's pretty simple.
