It is extremely loud and annoying (to me) when on long trips. Sound is very nice and very deep. Sounds similar to Spoon N1 if you've had the chance to hear that one. The Spoon is a little deeper I think, but on the freeway it seems to quiet down. The T1R stays loud all the time, and conversations inside the car are near impossible. That's why I use the silencer.
HTH.

The Fujitsubo RM-01A has the same style muffler section, but not the titanium tip. It is also a hair smaller, with an added resonator, and sounds smooth and deep, not loud at all. If I were to get an exhaust for a daily driver, that would be the one.

I have t1r on my car, and if it werent for teh shitty fitment (i think i got an older version, i bought it used) I would give it a 10/10. the exhaust tone is awesome and the gains on the butt dyno are pretty significant
