Squeaky Clutch
My clutch has developed a squeak. When I engage the clutch, it has this annoying squeak, like the sound when brakes need to be replaced. Then as I let out the clutch, it makes the same noise. Is it a throwout or release bearing? Pilot bearing? Main shaft bearing or seal, or something like that? I'm useless when it comes to this.
Any suggestions, question , comments, concerns?
It's a 97 Hx w/145k miles on it.
What do I do to fix this?
CF: Squeaky clutch, need opinion on what to do

It could be all sorts of things. Trial and error is the way to go but definitely look around and search.
Mine was doing the same thing. I would hear a cricket type noise. It sounded rusty at the pedal or behind the pedal. It ended up being my pressure plate.
Good Luck!
