I got some jdm fog lights off ebay and Im having trouble installing them. First off are the usdm and jdm switch harness different? Im following the directions on http://www.hondaautomotivepart....html and on pg.3 #6 it mentions two 7-pin connectors which I dont see on my harness. Heres a pic of the harness I got:

here you go bud...

you are missing the small black relay that connects to the part as i indicate below. you should be able to get it at the dealership. dont worry about the 7 pin thingy, the jdm and usdm are wired differently,,, the jdm wiring you can run your fogs with the parking lights on.. the usdm you cant your full headlights have to be on..

 

Thanks alot Im gonna try and get it done today. I have the relay so I guess I just need to run the wire from the engine bay.

 

There is no 7-pin connector. That was for the USDM harness to only allow the fogs to come on with the headlights only. There was also one for the dimmer. The JDM harness however plugs in only into the fusebox (#2 & #5 accessories slots). Those connectors are labeled on the connectors. You will need to run the wire running from inside to the outside harness. Ground the relay and ground wire and fogs. Plug the switch harness into the switch and youre all done.

 

rather than start a new post i decided to post my question here. after finally installing the fogs all of a sudden my battery keeps getting drained. i checked the fuse and #5 and there is always power there even with the car off. Is it supposed to have power all the time? Heres the a pic of how I connected everything.
