i was looking at my stock gsr IM, and was told that if i take it apart and take the middle part and open it up (make one big hole) instead of the little holes in there. I could see some type of performance. Has anyone done this or heard abotu doing it?

 

GSR IM is not good, the air flow flow poorly. I never heard that before but I wouldn't do it I rather have a performance IM.

 

Your better of replacing the whole intake manifold with either a skunk 2 or blox manifold then you might notice some gain in power.

 

MI4EH2, Yes I'v herd of it I also have a gsr IM and was wondering the samething ... I took out my IM to try it. If ever I get a chance to put it back and try it I could tell you if theres any kind of gain in performance. But for now I'd like to hear other peoples feed back

"you can take anything and make it better"...how much time, fab work (possibly), and money is up to you. and do you really want to have a modified gsr intake manifold in the end or take the easy way out and just buy something like the aebs or jg? it's up to you.

well i hate to say...but you guys do not have clue,except this guy?
i suggest you look at eric agular's crx and old coupe.

plus i spray 400 on a built b20 vtec using this gsr manifold.....look at some of my nitrous threads...or pm or email me at nitrousballa@twlakes.net
