hey, i didnt know which forum to post under, so i posted here since this is the 1 i frequent most. but i have 2 type r trannies and i cant remember what the years are. 1 has a ring gear of 67 teeth on it and 66 on the other. anybody know which years these are and the final drive ratios?

how many teeth are on the pinion?

 

66 is for the 4.4 fd; 67 is for the 4.78 fd.

 

by anychance do you know which years 4.78 is from?

 

4.78 didnt show up until 98+

.....and even then, only on jdm itr trannies.
