my ecu tells me that my intake air temperature sensor isn't right, so i checked the wires and found out that the one going to the ecu was bad so i replaced it with my own and that didnt work i tried bypassing the sensor and went straight to the ecu but nothing worked i even connected my own wire that went to the iat sensor to make sure that wasnt bad and basically i tried every combination of everything and thought maybe its because i dont have a certain wire that hooks up to my intake is that possible or do you know a way that i can check the sensor

 

are you sure you have the right connector plugged into it? - 2 wire connector with red/yellow and green/white wires
