i think as long as the turbo kit is fit for the car model and yr and got that EO number, u should be fine in cali, i got the jdm h22a in 95accord and i got it BAR, it a bitch though cuz the smog level is way below wat is avg but they require some extra stuff in it, watever a lude has, i have to have it in the car also...

since there arent any BAR approved accord tubo kits just gotta find a spot that will pass you or you have to take it off every 2 yrs.

w/ h22 you can find places that are cool and wont care about the visual just as long as it passes the sniffer test

depend on the accord yr isnt??? as far as gettin it BAR wit turbo, it would be very hard, a 97+h22a in an accord wit greddy turbo would be street legal i believe cuz the greddy do make legal turbo kit...as far as fmax turbo, i dun think it street legal in cali...not entirely sure on that

the h22 swap would have to have a BAR sticker and that costs a grip and is real hard to get.

You will NOT pass smog with any turbo kit. you can't even pass with any after market intakes, headers, catback etc unless c.a.r.b approved like AEM or injen or DC sport even then some places have a fit and say they won't even test it. H22 can probably pass but if you live in Cali you know something as small a O2 sensor can hold you back from passing. I pay someone to pass mine cause I couldn't pass for ****. but like I said if your car didn't come with a factory turbo which if you have an accord it doesn't then forget it you aint passing........

greddy kits are carb approved and they make a kit for the h22, but to pass it legit the h22 swap would have to be BAR approved by the ref and issued a sticker.
