Default 99 SS Vrs. ITR

You sit there and all count that SS will probably win. But the Type R said he would chose the spot. Sry SS. If that road has pretty sweet curves. Your *** is grass. Just to let you know.

If your talking about the Camaro SS...the ITR will lose badly unless you rig up a tight *** AutoX course. Any normal street curves are not tight enough for the SS to lose. They don't handle that bad...plus they got 3 times the torque to power out of slow corners.

I will have to disagree with the fact that they do not handel that bad, and I speak only from my own experience. I have gone at it with a Z28 on a pretty normal street with curves. I go up and down this street about 10 times a day (its right by my house I have no other choice) so I have pretty much mastered it (practice for upcoming Autox ) Well anyways me and the Z went at it he was killing me on the straight roads but as soon as those curves came about so did his brake lights. We went through a serious of turns I was about 7 cars ahead of him throughout the curves, and finally he spun out !!!!

But they got massive amounts of torque

Edit: I spelled Brake wrong (break)

Man, don't you think if the Camero SS could out run our cars that we would have not baught ITR for the corners. Just a hunch. They type R can out run most anything on the track. I've got Japanese movies galor and I'll bouch with anyone who thinks otherwise.

You know, a cat like this just makes it too easy. He's giving us too much to work with. You could:

1) Assault his ESL madd posting skillz
2) Pick at his utter lack of vehicle knowledge
3) The list goes on

damn nice job. Its nice to see a real SS with REAL mods on it for once. Around here all I get are punks in fake SS's (auto 6cly with "dual exhaust!" lol) or punks with stock SS's with a flowmaster /cherry bombs/cutoffs/ and maybe an intake as mods on the car! hahahah
Let us know what you hit at the strip!

This guy's been watching too many videos.

On a side note, it takes more than just the car itself to be fast in corners. There's something on your head called a brain that houses "drivers skill". Something which this guy would probably be lacking.

don't get me wrong--i love my type R and the car never ceases to impress me, but i'm also able to face reality while you, however, are not. there are a crapload of cars that will hand the R its *** on a track. keep in mind, it doesn't have much torque, and it is still relatively underpowered (please don't kill me, people, it's the truth). to repeat myself, it's a fantastic car and it will outrun a lot of what's out there, but it is, by no means, unbeatable.

If you want to look at it this way, the ITR is a sport compact, if anything it should be compared to cars similar to it, not some muscle car. Comparing the ITR to a SS is like comparing apples to oranges and or Focus to a Skyline GTR.
