i have a 97 Y8 im about to buy a harness, to convert to p28. i need to know if my p2p that i have now is obd2a or obd2b. so i know which harness to buy. what is the difference?

I learned the hard way buying an OBD2B connversion harness and thought I got ripped by the seller. Then I found this and saw why it was working

 

DUH its OBD2a !
i replied to get an OBD1 to OBD2a jumper harness
