Will aem sri work for a diy icebox?

Damn your SRi is that short??? I know mine goes all the way to the hole when the box sits.
What about using some sort of plastic pipe to connect the box to the sri tube?

Depending on the angle and the length of your intake you might need to cut some material off so that everything lines up.
I have a comptech drop in filter with a velocity stack that will fits in the stock airbox. Thats what I used in my previous setup.
I used this coupler from home depot's plumbing section to connect the intake arm to the filter. You have to trim some of the coupler to line up everything.
