He probably cant use that intake because thats for NON-ABS integras, it wont fit if he has the abs system in place.

I decided to go with the aem CAI v2. I am getting it from a buddy's shop for $245+ 45 for a bypass valve.....and no the bypass valve takes no power away.

If your into the whole sound factor, then get an aem or injen intake. If you want something safe in rain weather, and performs good, then get the mugen/arc/comptech. I liked my aem cai, but i just didnt feel safe in the rain..so I cut it and made it a short ram for the winters. I've now been using the whole comptech ice box system. I've driven through a 2 foot puddle of water (highway was flooded, no turning back)..i pulled over and checked my filter right after i went through it..filter stayed completely dry! Since then, I've been a big fan of the comptech ice box

get a generic one. they all work the same. they all work off of the AEM/INJEN design. generic ones are cheaper because they copied the design of of those guys who actually put R&D into the intake. that's why they cost so much.

have you every heard of the AEM/INJEN hump?

well, the sound factor isnt there with the comptech system, BUT, my butt dynos saw the same gains between the two. Its probably only 1 hp difference between the two! No actual numbers as of yet
