Default vaccume line

if you dont hook all the vaccume line up can it make the motor not want to run?

The vac lines are there for a reason.
Pick yourself up a Chilton's or Haynes manual for your car if you want to learn about how your car works.
Do not attempt to work on your car if you don't have a clue how it works.
