Harness question(Honda/Acura Technicians Help!!)

Can anyone tell me if the circled part in blue can be taken apart from the main harness in the engine bay. My TDC sensor is throwing a CEL and I know it isn't the sensor since I have recently replaced the old one. So I am thinking it maybe the wiring leading to the sensor(circled in the pictures) is the problem. If anyone could help, please let me know. I have a ohm meter, but I dont know how to use it. If anyone could help me out with using the meter, that will be very helpful. Thanks a lot.
Read the instructions that came with your ohm meter, and learn how to use it. Then check for voltage at the plug for the TDC sensor.

Check for voltage at the plug for the TDC sensor.
There's NO other way for you to diagnose the problem until you take that first step. Also, don't expect others to be quick to help if you're not willing to help yourself. It takes 1 minute with an ohm meter to diagnose.

I know it does, but as I forgot to mention I am at school and my ohm meter is back home which is 4 hours away, so their is no chance of me checking the voltage. If someone could tell me the right voltage for the plug, that would be very helpful as well. Sorry for the inconvenience.

There is no point in cutting that portion of the wiring harness out and replacing it. I hate electrics but I will search also and try to help you out. Find someone with a volt meter, like Reid said thats the first thing you have to do.

I had no intentions on cutting that portion; I was trying to figure out if that portion came off right where clip 57 is, and I could buy that whole seperate harness portion.

I guess you can buy it, but I dont think thats your problem. I'm still looking for info but have you tried to follow that harness back and see if there are any cuts or shorts in the wire?

I have but it's really hard to tell when all the wires are covered up by the black plastic wiring cover, if that makes any sense. I might have to get someone to send me the meter from back home to try out the voltage. Thanks for helping out.
