Default B16 tranny or GSR????

Is a B16 tranny really going to help me over a GSR tranny? I know it has shorter gears but is it really that big of a difference?

street and drag. Its a B20/vtec with stage 3 cams,etc. I also have a bottle. Will there be a big difference between gsr and b16?
