My temp gauge seems to be broken or failing randomly. it will go up sometimes but if i come to a stop in my car it will go down below the cold line every once in a while and i know my cooling system is not that good. what should i check? I have a 91 integra LS

 

check your thermostat. could be slightly stuck open.
