all they di is advance the crap out of your timing and add a little bit of fuel. with an intake header eaxhaist combo they might make 3-8hp MAYBE. worth 20 bucks? i guess. my 'mugen' chip ran pretty good on my ls/vtec. but on a mostly stock single cam? probably not.

Worthless, and not worth the time and money.

Why would you let someone who has never even seen your motor tune it?

It's just a resistor, you can pick one up from radio shack for like ten cents. The resistor goes into either the CKP or the IAT and it doesn't do much. Expect to see gains of 1hp on butt dyno only, I don't think a real dyno will pick it up.

Some are resistors, but some are actually chips that you can put in your ecu. They change stuff, and it's not always in the right way.

And I don't think you meant to say CKP, the car needs that to run.

I did mean to say CKP.

Some guy on e-bay was selling resistors for Toyota Crank sensors.

How the hell would that work? Dummy the computer into thinking there's no misfires, like bypass the crank fluctuation sensor? Maybe it's just me, I don't get it.
