The starting problem with my Integra has returned, help please.
Just out of the blue my Integra doesn't start. The engine cranks over fine, but that is all I get. I checked the spark plugs and everything seems fine. The last time this happened I changed the plugs, and dist. cap and she started up. I figured the plugs might have been too old and new plugs fixed the problem. Even though I'd imagine I'd see some signs of the plugs going bad.
The only thing I can figure right now is to start checking the fuel system. I do hear the fuel pump turn on before I try to start the car, so I'm assuming that is okay. My next step I'm guessing is to change the fuel filter and see what that does.
How often does the fuel press. reg. fail? Is it possible this is the problem?
How much does a descent fuel press tester cost? I really don't know much about fuel system.
Any input is welcomed.. I need to get her running again because my 240 isn't finished yet.
Fixed!

Did u just visually look at them?
Or did you pull one and ground it and have someone crank the car over to see if it is actually firing??

yeah if check to see if your gettin spark by doing what was just mentioned and if your not getting anything it could be your coil inside the dizzy.
For now I just visually looked at them. I thought maybe I had flooded the car the last time I shut it down, and tried starting it a few too many times, so I have it on a charger right now. The last time this happened the plugs were past due for a replacement, but I did test them to see if they infact were firing and they were.
I'm guessing it's not getting fuel somehow..

if you hear your fuel pump comming on then its most likely not a problem with your main relay. It is most likely your coil or something to do with the dizzy. Check for spark before you go out buying things.

just start with the basics, make sure you're getting spark, pull a plug wire off a plug and stick a screw driver in, lay it down and crank and see if it sparks. Then check for fuel, can do that many different ways... check and see which isnt getting to the cylinder, if you're getting both then more then likely its your plugs...
Update:
Well I figured it was something with the ignition system.. when I took off the rotor, it was looong gone. I think it was a little early to replce, but anyways.. slapped on a new one and she started right up.
