Engine stutter/jerking - CEL 09 thrown
Hey guys, this problem is with my wife's 91 Accord LX 5-spd. She was driving and it felt like the car would stutter and the jerk some. She said the Check Engine Light came on, so I went down to take a look at it. I checked it out and it's throwing a CEL 09. I've driven the car and have experiencing the same issue after a little bit of driving, then it throws the CEL.
I've been suggested by a few friends that the distributor is on it's way out. I've also done some research that it could just be some bad connectors. What does this CEL code mean? Any suggestions would be of great assistance. Thanks!

Code 9 points to the cylinder possition sensor or circuit. Pull off the dist cap. Is there brown dust all over inside?
