How to remove crank pulley
There is a special tool you can use to make it easier to hold the pulley in place while you turn the breaker bar, but you can also get it off with air tools, a breaker bar and a pipe, or any other source of lots of torque and leverage.
You can usually rent the tool at Autozone if you want, better than buying it.

There is a tool that makes it much easier but it is not required. It looks like a huge socket to hold the pully with a hole in the middle so you can get a socket on the bolt. Otherwise just hold the pully in place but be ready it ready sucks and you might break the bolt.
I bought myself a moroso crank pulley bar...works great.....but you can do the ghetto way if its your last resort......You can put your breaker bar/socket(wd-40 also) into the crank nut and have someone put there feet on the breaker bar and crank the engine one time real fast so that your pulley spins. At the same time your holding onto the breaker bar so it will loosen up the crank nut.....but I personally dont like doing that cuase you might have a chance to strip your nut. Ive done it plenty of times on other cars and have no problems but I still recommend other ways....
other way is...take out your starter and have one person stick a flat head to the flywheel and make sure he has a good grip to the flywheel(hard to get a good grip though) and you can use a breaker bar with a heavy duty hammer and just pound the breaker bar to loosen up the crank bolt. If you try to turn the crank bolt, more then likely your buddy will loose his grip on the flat head trying to grip one of the flywheel teeth, so you must pound the bar only and you must try this attempt for a few times.....
this is what I have...they have one for sale

just go to some shop and tell them to loosen the bolt for u just by shooting some nice impact wrench and tighten them back up for but dont do it too tight and ur good to go...
Darn that was cheap for 22 bucks. I bought one from http://store.sjdiscounttools.net/sp60100.html for $40 plus shipping. Amazon has the same thing but I didn't see the $22 one.
