Default Good transmission for a b18a1

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what a good transmission would be to replace the stock one, (which is breaking -synchros), on a b18a1, thanks

something with short gears such as a b16 or an itr tranny.

if you don't go with one of those i would suggest a y80 tranny.

i dont know what a y80 tranny is but im assuming its hydro...if it is u would need to do a cable to hydro conversion...this applies to the itr tranny as well...IMO its kind of a waste of time...if u want real short gears and a good factory lsd there is a cable tranny called the ys1...it came on the jdm gsr DAs i believe..maybe usdm too, but dont quote me on that..not all of em came with lsd but a lot did..these are hard to find since they are so desirable... but make sure if u find one that it is the gsr tranny and not just another ls...

with the cost of the LSD ys1 tranny itr converted might be cheaper.
