one of your friends call you and ask you "where are you going?"

one of my friends from high school yesterday called me...and this is the jist of the conversation..

john: "hey man, where you headed to? i just passed you going the other way.."
me: "dude, im sitting on my couch reading for class..."
john: "doesn't your car have ** ******** in the quarter glass?"
me: "if you saw my car, please turn around and tell me if my mom or dad is driving it..."
john: "ok, ill call you right back.."

 

and the verdict was? mom or dad?

 

wouldnt you know if your mom or dad were driving your car???

 

surprisingly enough, neither.


but i was wondering if anyone elses friends check up to make sure if they saw you driving your R, just to make sure noone had lifted it.


mine was still safe. i verified and called him back and told him to call off the chase.

I let my mom drive my hatch once.... so she could see what my hobby is like. She ran out all of 3rd gear on an on ramp... scared the crap outta herself... was fun She doesn't want to drive it anymore

 

I've had people call me before like, "hey man slow down so i can catch up' and Im like "word!?!"

Or someone will be like " hey i saw your car at ____" and Im like "not me y0" with my best JDM pose

 

yea people call me all the time fcking with me about it , but they let me know its a joke quick , but yea a few of my boys come by my house every night on the way home from work to make sure everything is all good and 1 time someone called me asking me if i totaled my car cuz they saw the advan sticker on the fender of a totaled black r on a tow truck a few miles from my town , btw i took that sticker off .

There is a carbon copy of my car about 30 minutes away from me. I get phone calls all the time asking what I'm doing out in that area.

 

Heh - Only one of my friends has ever spotted me in town and called me so I could pull over.

Another friend called me to say he saw someone parked at a funny angle next to me in a parking garage - and that the car had actually backed into the spot and hit the front end of the car on the opposite side! He thought I should get the license plate and take pictures just in case the idiot decided to hit my car on the way out. By the time I got there though, the cops were there with the owners of the other two cars. *whew* My car was safe.

And, my assface roommate likes to pretend someone jacked it from our garage all the time. He's so clever, isn't he. I should roll his motorcycle into the side yard and tell him someone stole it. *snicker*

Nobody around me knows how to drive a stick well enough to even get my car out of the garage.
