Default b16b performance...

Just about to pick up a b16b and just wondering what are some good mods to do to the engine outside of intake, underdrive pully and header. The engine is going to be used strictly on the race track (and thats not drag track).

What would you guys recomend for all motor to this engine for some extra track worthy hp and torque gains?

If you did a search you would find several options as to stroking the B16b motor. First off, it has the same deck height as the B18's, so you can use a GSR or ITR crank. The LS crank is another option, and has the longest stroke(89mm). If you were to put the ITR crank in, assuming you use ITR pistons, you have a C5. I guess it all depends on what your goals are and how serious you are about track racing. A B16b in a lightweight car is a good road course motor, just as long as it stays 6k and above. Hope this helps

Consider looking into a different final drive gear.
