So I just ordered Pacesetter Monza exhaust for my stock crx. Is this a loud or what exhaust. Just want some feedback from people who have this exhaust. Let me know how it sounds and anything else.
I had this exhaust about 4 years ago and it sounds like a cow dying, seriously. And it has the classic ricer buzz to it too. I took the exhaust off after about a week because it sounded so bad.
Ive had mine now for 3 years and its in good shape... Sounds like *** but its better then the stock falling apart HF exhaust I had before. I dont know what it sounds like with a cat but it may be decent.
I plan on welding in a round magnaflow muffler and getting rid of the pacesetter muffler.
Oh and the tip sucks *****... I cut it off LOL.

My friend has it on his del sol with a b16 for about 2yrs now and it sounds great. he just cut the tip off and extended the pipe. I guess all cars are different
my pacesetter/monza/bosal exhaust sounded throaty and quiet on my old sohc crx. never had rust issues but i wouldn't pay more than $200 for that catback. and the tip is ginormous.
go too A&A and tell them you want a dynomax super turbo catback. its like $179-200 and looks like stock si dual tip and its mandrel bent 2.25"

A&A is like pepboys/autozone/advance they have what they have they can find you anything or order anything and it wont cost you a lot of $$ maybe 5% more more than it would be online and they either have it there or can get it there in 1-2 days no extra charge.

Well I put my exhaust on last night and I am so happy with the results. It doesn't sound ricey or anything. It actually sounds as quiet as stock. I guess it's different on everyone's car. No dying cow sounds with my car.

Good deal, hopefully when it breaks in it doesn't get worse.

And I got what I paid for. I didn't want a loud exhaust and I sprayed the whole thing gloss black and then cleared it like 3 times so it doesnt rust.
