how do u launch ur EF?
Sup yall jus wonderin how yall launch ur EF on the street.. i tried to practice launchin dis one night i jus revved to 3k then drop da clutch n jus gunned it but then i started hella spinnin the tires so i let off gas real quick den on it again but that jus messed up my momentum.. what if i drop the clutch half way till i grab traction will that burn my clutch tho? haha sorry i know imma rookie.. it was in my bros EF wit a LS motor dont wanna dogg it too much tho till i pay him off for it

i could understand it fine. i guess maybe its because thats how alot of people speak over here.
when you launch dont just gun it right after you launch, stay at half throttle or whatevers till you grip then floor it

every car is different...u cant determine what rpm to launch ur car based on what other people are launching theres at....u need to learn how to feather the clutch not just dump it...

i like to hold a steady idle of 3200-3500rpms and lightly feather the clutch off the line while at half throttle. my rex will start to stick around 5300rpms where i completely let off the clutch and floor the throttle, this causes me to cross right into vtec and rip most of first till the tires starts to spin around 7500rpms.
its a great way to launch but then again i have a 115wtq on tap from 3k on AND an act 8.8lb fw, i guess the traction bars help too and the spring perches, etc.
your mods are gonna affect how quickly you get traction so the best way for you to learn is trial and error.
traction issues is the thing i hate most about the ef chassis. i make all this wonderful low end power but i cant use it from a dig. poor me

I have to make sure the rubber band is wound tight enough before I "launch"... Then she goes until the band breaks or needs to be wound again

Come on man, let's get real. Bring to appropriate RPM, and let up the clutch at the same time and you will start moving, that is not a difficult concept to grasp.

i pull up the e brake and while im holding the button to let it down i press the gas and let off the clutch a little untill i can feel the car moving then i hold it at like 3k and have the clutch a little out while me e brake is holding me back and then i just let go of the e brake and floor it...

I would rev it up to 8400rpm with the handbrake pulled 180 degrees. Then i would heat up the engine while holding the rev at 8400rpm for 10 minutes before i would quickly withdraw my left foot to an upright position while fastening my seatbelt. Then i would turn up the stereo to a really nice Linkin Park tune while doing my makeup.

launch control.. test and tune i launch at 65k and i dunno what i do, ill spin alittle bit but the d'r's will grip fast and im on 12psi in the tires i dont know what to tell you but feather the clutch
