I tried searching but the server is down so im forced to post. I just bought a 1990 integra to fix up. everything has been going good so far until i started it today and noticed at first it idles at 2000 rpms, It slowly goes down so i don't think that is too much of a problem but when i completely stop, it sometimes Bounces between 1500 and 2000 rpm. It stops when i put it in first and start going again and sometimes it will be a couple stops later before it does it again. I noticed that because the guy, that had it before me, put a CAI in there are two vacuum tubes not attached comeing from the intake manifold. could that be my problem?
As well i noticed that, when i took corners, there was a popping noise. not loud but enough for me to notice.
Please let me know what you guys/gals think and as soon as the search server is back up that is where i will be.
Thanks.

when u corner hard? if it is that is the CV joint in ur axles
i have the a similar idling problem on my car but mines revs to 2000 and dies if i dont stay on it...I think it has something to do with the ECU. It probably doesnt have nething to do with the IM but hook the hoses up anyways, u dont want sand and stuff getting in ur engine

i wouldnt go straight to the ECU first
check these things in order:
Air Filter (could just be extremely dirty)
Those Vacuum tubes you should prolly connect to something
Use injector cleaner
Check Spark Plugs
check Oxygen sensor
have distributer checked, could be misfiring
if not that then bite the bullet and take it in
