Hello.. I just bought a pair of JDM headlights and am wondering if anyone knows of a walkthrough online of how to install these; I am trying to avoid taking it to the dealer to get charged through the roof.. any help please?

 

just like any other headlight assembly.. if you have any mechanical knowhow you can do it...

very short and simple
- remove front bumper
- unplug bulbs from headlight assembly
- remove headlight assembly

 

i have one small thing to add if you dont know, DO NOT TOUCH THE HID BULB, iyou could f*(k it up if you do. You can grab the base just dont touch the glass. Other then that just do what 03 said, i cant imagine the JDM ones having different electrical clips. Did hte JDM ones come with HID invertor?

If there the real JDM lights, you will need JDM turn signal sockets and a different bulb size for them.

 

You don't have to get the turn signal sockets during the install immediately. You can always get them later. The S2000 front liner will hold the sockets secured without allowing mosture. I had to do this for a little bit until I got the right sockets. The HID(D2S) bulbs are a simple swap. To take off the bumper, use this http://www.ricks2k.com/info/in....pdf . Pretty straight forward.
