They're not "JDM style", they are called reflector lenses.
Projectors are gay... unless you have an HID retrofit... then it's cool.

you think JDM headlights are cool looking
in seriousness, IMO i like the projector headlights, they make the car look newer than a '94,
screw what other people think look cool and stop having this forum make its decisions for.
your either gonna stand out in society, or stand in

Re: projctors vs. jdm style headlights
If I remember right, the JDM EG headlights had a plastic polycarbinate type lens instead of glass, but the look is pretty much the same.
I'm thinking the OP is referring to the diamond clear lens reflector headlights as "JDM Style," which is incorrect.
As far as projector versus clear lens reflectors, do whatever you want. Do you want 4 lights or 2? There are a lot of crappy projectors out there though. Some like projectors because they update the look of the car, some like having 4 lights (2 low, 2 high), some like the ability to light all 4 at once on high beam, and some prefer the look of a clear lens reflector housing on an EG (like the 96+ has factory).
In the end, do what you want. Otherwise you'll end up doing it twice, which is a waste of money. Do it right the first time
