The new titanium pieces on the doors and center consul are nice looking. And the new dark housing around the headlights is pretty sweet too.

The new wheels suck though, I liked the other Type S wheels better.

Yeah, that would be... than drop it w/ Comptech susp. package. Bling-bling.

you damn right, with the I/H/E, that **** would roll....my mom has a 2000 (non-S) and it rides great and is decently quick.

Yeah, my folks were looking at a typeS w/ comptec package, but we ended up getting an Audi quattro. Nice cars, but it was too big for our taste. I wouldn't mind having one as a daily driver for sure.

So is there going to be a TL-S 6 speed?
I think the TL is a better looking car than the CL.

 

I like the CL better. The TL has too many doors.

 

TL 0wnz CL! I'm not down with how the CL looks. It's too UN-sporty.

 

Hate to disappoint, but the CL-S 6 Speed was already sold and went from PDI to clean up. So no test drive on this one.

Have to wait for the next one to come in.

Im thinking the TL-S will get the 6 speed too...im sure its in the works. Especially if the CL 6 speed brings a lot of demand.

I like both the TL and CL, but the new lights on the CL makes it look pretty sweet.

 

I had a short tire-screeching fast ride in one a few months ago at one of the So Cal dyno days. It's very fast in a straight line, but the suspension is really soft. Definitely not my cup of tea. I'd rather get BMW's interpretation of a "Luxury Sport Coupe" personally.

 

I stomped a older style M3 ( late 90's?) on the Jersey Turnpike 3 days ago in the wifes 02 TL-S. The old man pulled up next to me and then took off......... I couldn't turn down his offer!

From about 75mph up to 120ish the red Bimmer kept getting smaller and smaller in my rear view miror.. then I let off the gas and put the cruise on 65 and the guy wouldn't come up to pass.

I'll take the Acura TL Type-S 10 times out of ten and keep the extra 20 grand in the bank! The wife didn't like many of the BMW features. She also said they rode like a truck when we test drove it ........ ordered the TL-S the next day!

TL Type S is pretty quick. There was a beige sedan pacing me around my area (keeping an even distance), we were hitting 150KM in 50KM zones he was eager to chase however didn't have the ***** to pull beside.

Nice family sedans.

TL Type S 6 speed would be ultimately sweet, with some springs some adjustable shocks and I/H/E you'd be set! Hopefully it'd come with black housing headlights too and with an LSD...ohh man, droooooooooooool

the TL type S is gonna b the ****!! i think is looks way better than the CL type S..a nice four door with a some tv's in the headrest is very big dogs...especially with a nive kit and some engine mods..this would make a sweet daily driver

 

that's all I'll say.
Oh and that I've seen these cars for about 7 months now...they are fantastic.
They will probably frustrate R's..esp with LSD.

Might I recommend waiting for the '04 TL?
I think you will all poo poo the current TL, 6MT or not. The '04 TL will change the way you look at Honda. So we don't get good stuff in the states..blah blah blah..
hold your horses kiddos....'04 is where it's at.
