Default 94 civic engine in a 92 civic

Will a 1994 civic engine from a stick shift car fit in a 1992 civic stick shift? Will it just bolt in or will I have to change the electronics or something else? How about the transmission. are they the same? thanks Brian

Just swap it in. If the engine is the same it should be an easy swap. If you are going from non-vtec to vtec, you will need the proper ecu and wiring harness or modify your existing harness.

same wiring harness will work you would just have to run 3 wires off your VTEC solinoid, two to the new ECU (you will need the VTEC ECU) and one wire is a ground.
