Well, after doing a tranny swap (5speed) my Reverse lights are backwards now. When i have it in gear or nuetral the light would stay on and when i have it in reverse the light would turn off. Some topic says the reverse light switch is on top with a whole bunch of wires coming out, but there is two. Does the reverse connect to the speed sensor or the other one with one wire coming out? I know i kinda fucked up the speed sensor because i lowered the tranny with the speed sensor on and two wires came off and one black wire stayed in and got stretch out. but i put the pins back in and the speedotimer still works.

 

check the wire that goes on the tranny itself

 

ya there is two, one on the left side(speed sensor) and one on the right side which i dont know? So what on the tranny will effect this backward reverse light problem?

The reverse light switch (assuming it's a 5spd) is on the front of your tranny near the vibration/torque mount. It has two wires coming out of it.

Well, i looked at it and everything is connected and the wires seem fine. I probally better off just taking out the bulbs.

 

try switching the wires on the connector to the tranny
