My car (98 Ek hatch) has no trunk latch. Nothing just a trunk that opens and closes. Is there any way to buy the latch thingy for it? How much would it cost?

Sure would make it a lot easier to park in really tight spots.

When u close ur trunk theres a latch the keeps it close and you use key to open the trunk. Well my car doesnt have that latch or even the thingy to put your key in. Its like when u buy a CF trunk its just the trunk. is there anyway to get the peice.

 

Are you trying to tell me that basically anybody walking by can open your trunk and jack everything? I'd try a junkyard...failing that the dealer should have the latch parts. At first I thought you were talking about the hatch release cable (I don't have it - does this exist for EJ hatches?!)

Yes. Thats why I wanna knoe if theres any way to buy a new one or what could i do to fix it

Its just the the trunk skin with nothing in the key hole or trunk latch. You'll probably spend about $50+shipping for everything you need at majestic honda.
