Ok this is a really stupid question

Im looking to have a custom exhaust built...but not sure whether i want 2.5 or 2.25 piping... which is better?? Second, the tip i might be getting is an N1 replica with 2.5 inlet 4" outlet tip and removable silencer......and its like 19"-20" long...is this riddiculously big/ricey/ugly/crap/etc??? It will total to like $200 for them to do the tip and piping and install it...good/bad???

Secondly, will this be loud as ****? cause i am kinda going for the quieter exhaust sound......and expecially not anything loud or ricey or gay crap like that

Thirdly, lol will the cops f*ck with you if you have that big of a tip?? and since its that big will it sound like ***, etc, etc???

Depends on exhaust tip really.

They won't expletive with you if you have a big tip, but if its loud as hell, expect a ticket.

 

In CT they have that 1480-B or something like that. I got it before. it's like the tin can law... When I got the ticket I was coasting down a hill with the clutch in, took a side road to get away from the cop behind me, as soon as I turned he put on his lights. I was so pissed.

 

2 1/4 if your mildy built. Only REALLY built all motor applications will use 2 1/2, and even a 2 1/4 is still good enough. You can't go wrong with 2 1/4 though.

 

any difference between 4" tip or 3.5" tip? are both too big/too ricey/too loud/gay/etc
