Default anyone have / use jdmshit jsr recaro replica seats?

for $395 shipped w/ rails its kind of hard to beat if your not a label *****... ive found obx slides for 88-91 civic for about $40, so for $450 or so i could put these in my whip

anyone have em, use em, sit in em, touch em

any clearance issues?

Guessing they are the same as these seats.

I was looking into the same option....but they look really similar to the Tenzo seat...which isn't that comfortable at all.

I loved my Tenzo seats in my EG. Not the best quality by far but they were comfy. Makes it hard to drive in a stock seat.

there are a couple of topics on these. overall i think the response was that they were cheaply made and the buyers wished they had spent a few hundred more for better seats. who knows though, if you took care of them you might be able to get them to last for you.

I never sat in these before but I have recaros I got for $550 and they are extra comfy. I wouldnt buy them unless you had a *** test.

I have considered getting these as well.

I wish there was a local place where I could go and sit in a variety of seats to get a feel for which ones I like.

I have a hard time dropping any $$ on a seat which I have never sat in.

They're better than a stock seat "sporty" wise. Not as comfortable tho. Ofcourse not close to as good as a real ITR seat. But het... 400 bucks you know.

The fabric doesn't last tho. It starts to shine after a few weeks of getting in and out of the car.

You guys will regret spending 4-5 bills on a seat you never sat in. I never done it but its just crazy to do it.

As cool as they look, I guess I could call myself a "label *****" as you called it, because you know the quality and the authentic label you get with the part. I also very rarely would never buy a part without my hands-on-it at the time, or in your case sitting in it, but then again it is your money..

not sure if they are the same as the ones listed on the other site. however, I have them in my 89 crx dx and believe me for the price, you cant go wrong. they sit very flush and installation is a breeze. for NRG Innovations

HorsePowerFreaks sells them.

They also sell the NRG seats...

They are local to me, so I might go down there and sit in a few before I make a decision.

they look identical to my RECARO's. if they fit and feel as good then they are a STEAL. only 400 **** give it try and if you don't like have RECARO stitched in and sell on EBAY. JDM RECARO knock offs. good luck
