Seat sliding rail jammed!
I have a quarter that is jamming the sliding rail on my passenger side seat...its a 97 accord and I am wondering how I could go about getting it out....I have tried everything I can think of...I tried prying it out with a long screwdriver and it just jammed it more...so now the seat only can slide about 3 inches....I dont really want to remove my seats...I dont know how much work that would take....any comments or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Unfortunately there is no procedure for removing a foreign objects from a seat track. Usually when this happens with a customer car I try for a couple minutes to work it out with a pick or a screwdriver, but if I don't have any luck I take the seat out. It is really easy it get out.... there are just 4 bolts that hold it in, one at each corner... on the end of the seat tracks. Take the seat out and you will have better access to the seat track.
