Default Question about security

I am a little confused about the security of my ITR. I have a good alarm and all of the oem's now have computer chipped keys. How is it that all of these theft posts keep coming up? Doesnt the new technology stop it? I know there are ways around all of that but this is getting ridiculous!

I garage mine and have covered parking at work and will also take another vehicle if I think mine would be in danger. I just wonder how thieves are getting past all of the technology, or should I get a wheel lock or club or something?

if your car is worth enough, they will just simply tow the car away. unless you decide to take ur wheels off and drop ur car on the floor and shoot a 12 inch rod through the car that goes 20 feet deep and having ur car welded to the rod, they're going to be able to steal it..

kill switches, autolock, gps tracking, 2 way alarm, remove ecu, removeable steeringwheel with hub lock.

that's about the most you can do for the car..

but will he learn from others mistakes??? i doubt it. too many times owners depend on insurance to take care of a loss, then bitch about not getting what the car is worth after the fact.

theres tons of things to protect any car,and make it almost impossible and such a waste of time to steal. but alas no one cares until they are a victim
