Default 92 civic headlight harness?

i changed my bulbs today and i noticed the plugs are kind of rusted inside.. it had this white goo building up inside. would this cause my headlights to be dimmer?? how much does this part cost?

you can actually buy replacement headlight plugs at pep boys, i think they run about $18 per side, but i'm not entirely certain on the price. as far as installation goes, if you know how to splice wires, then you're set!

The "goo" is there to keep moisture out of the plug to prevent rusting.

No it won't magically reform. hahaha. You can use di-electric grease from the parts store. Are all of your lights ( brake, interior dome, and corners ) dim too or just the head lights.
