the a6/z6 combo has more aftermarket support but i believe the dohc is better for turbo
it all depends what your plans are

Some light boost maybe 10 psi or so, cams, H.I.E and a little head work. Kinda looking for 200-220 area and I know I'm not going to get it with the stuff I just posted but anyways.

just get a sohc zc...makes 2 more hp than a y8.
ive heard that boosted single cams make better torque than boosted DOHCs.
i have a vid. of a turbo'd stock y8 in an ek making 186whp/ 170lb/ft, w/ an AFC, RC440s, and a Profec B running 9psi. it spanks *** for a sohc ek...u should see the vid...lmk
just my $.02
