Default dreaded code #9

I searched for it but i didn't really find anything useful,anyone have any ideas what causes this and how to fix it,or if i missed a link somewhere for it that would help to.....thanks i really need help with this i have to pass emissions this month for new tags

i believe that is a code for one of the sensors in ur dizzy...usually the dizzy would need to be replaced

the only thing that fixed my code 9 was a new distributor. ebay has them for $150.

my crx had this code when i bought it, replaced the distributor and it went away. not only that but it also ran a whole lot better

i went through this whole ordeal... and i got a dizzy that only had 3k miles on it from a junkyard here for $50!! haha im one lucky bastard... good luck

I'm getting a code 9 since yesterday and I replaced my dizzy with a brand new one around 500 miles ago
