ECU Fuse Blowing out randomly, I quit, need help asap!
Its a 90 accord with an h22 and my ecu fuse keeps blowing. the only code i got was a vss so i cleaned the one i had did not work, i bought a new one still did not fix the problem. checked all grounds cleaned them even added a new ground from the trans to the frame just to be sure. fuse still blows! i do not think it is the alternator because when i drive it around my house and the fuse blows i put a 30 amp fuse in to get it home ( i know its a terrible idea but im not having it towed 100 feet). When the other fuse is in the car runs fine. I almost hope something melts when the 30 amp fuse is in just so i can find the problem (not really). I cleaned all the connectors in my car which did not fix the problem. Checked the O2 sensor all the wires are fine not shorting anywhere. What the hell else could it be? Its been about a month now and i am all out of ideas. Very very frustrated i need help! What else is connected to the ecu fuse (the 10 amp ecu back up fuse under the hood) i know speedsenors, 02 sensor, alt what else? Thanks for all the help.

Do you have anything tapped into power under the hood, specifically the black and yellow +12V wires up near the driver's shock tower? I tapped into power there for a fan (I know, I know...) and my turbo melted the fan motor housing and shorted out the electrical circuit which popped the ECU fuse. I know it's a longshot but it reminded me of my situation and it's something to check.
Good luck!
Good luck!
when i did my swap, we took the hood off to make it easier... it rained in it before we could get the hood back on... some water got into my fuse box... so i kept blowing ecu fuses... maybe you went through a big *** puddle or something like that ... try drying it out with a blow dryer or sometihng?
