SO FAR I AM LOOKING @ '95-98 CIVIC EX OR Si
OR MITSHUBISHI 3000GT OR NISSAN 240X.
ARE THESE GOOD CHOICES? AND WHAT OTHER CARS MAY BE GOOD TO

I would say try and find a 95 Integra GSR. I believe this was the lightest model! If I had it to do over, I would have gone with that!

 

Get a 1992 civic. It's cheap. It's good on gas, and insurance won't kill you. Turn off caps locks.

let me just say with first hand experience. It looks nice, and is somewhat powerful, and now n'days pretty cheap. but bare in mind you get what you pay for. FYI the par for breaking down on those things is at 160k miles.

For a car to learn on, do not get the 3000gt. there is no room in the engine bay, good luck with all the vacuum lines if you mod it, tranny and drivetrane are prone to failure especially when modded, too heavy to make fast without serious $.

Civic or 240 would be good
