pm6 ecu
si motor w/manifolds
you can keep your hf trans but it is geared for fuel economy not performance

i own a HF my first swap was indeed the d16a6(si motor)

1. the engine is a drop in.
2. injectors and engine harness you can use.
3. ecu will need to be changed to pm6(si ecu)
4. if you use the HF tranny u can retain the same axles, if you use the Si tranny you will need to change out the axles, and hubs to either dx or si. or even better integra.

u can use the si tranny and still retain your hf hubs/axles. if you swap the hubs to si than you need si axles

HF axles are not compatible to SI tranny UNLESS you change the inner shaft to SI. WHY bother doing that?? cheaper? your own opinion!

downfalls of using the HF tranny with SI motor=longer gears, but clutch and tranny wont last long.. BEEN there done that.

dont believe what whats his face says:

the inner sides which plugs in the tranny is the same on all axles. its the outer part of the shaft that goes in the hub on hf/4spd civics that are smaller.

A HF transaxle has "5" gears. the inner shaft would need to match the following:
si or dx = si or dx
hf = hf

the outter shaft as follows:

si or dx = si or dx
hf = hf

does that make you feel smarter?

the combos

hf transaxle + hf hub = hf axle
si or dx transaxle + si or dx hub = dx or si axle
si or dx transaxle + hf hubs = si or dx inner shaft and hf outter shaft
hf transaxle + si or dx hubs = hf inner shaft and si or dx outter axle.

im done with this topic obvious you havent swapped much of anything out in your lifetime.

then all of a sudden because i had a turbcharged b16 with et times at 12.7 at 126 mph you guys try and smash the competition. i dont get it. school over for you nerds?

You don't have to make anything up, but you did, so why are you still posting here? 2 weeks ago you had a GSR block/head and a B16 block with a T25 turbo and you wanted to know how you could make the lowest compression ratio setup, and now you have a supposedly built motor with a T3/TO4E 50-trim running 12's @ 125? Bitch please. It's pretty sad when at the age of 24 you need to make **** up about how fast your cheap 80's economy car is to impress a bunch of 18 year olds on a message board so they don't flame your shitty taste in cars.</TD></TR></TABLE>

your bs also goes into your car i see .. in this thread you stop posting and since than had to change your name. your credibility you may now proceed to drive your 64hp car off a cliff and stop postin.

your a ******* moron! u dont even know how to swap a motor that comes in a USDM vehicle! and your tooo ******* cheap to buy a REAL honda motor with TWO cams and not prehistoric like what u only have enough for...how much is it...150$?

now about ur comment about me changing my name...

here goes..

yeah i asked a simple question about fenders bolting up. it was a question in a cosmetic forum! now if u must know. my name was changed for updating my information with a name that BEST suits the money i have invested over the years into my car. if you look at my crx. compared to what your working with, u can say i havent' been cheap. smart guy. had nothing to do about someone critisizing my questions because thats how people learn. u ask dumb questions about swaping a DIRECT bolt in motor and need the advice from others because ur soo lame and cant read a manual!

FOOL! know what your asking and know this.. you dont know what your talkin bout! cheap skate

i have no use for your honda motor sorry.. idont feel a need to compare my car with yours because like my ***** its better.

your vast knowledge told you that adding a vtec head to a b20 block lowered the compression. actually it goes up dumb ***.

you dont need to question my knowledge but your own. i can admit i dont know everything but the posts your making seems to point to the fact that i know more than you.

please keep posting your just adding to all the facts that shows how mentally challeged you are.
