Default Ground Control coil question

I feel retarted for asking this, but I can't find the answer and I'd rather be safe than sorry. I picked up the GC's on ebay and I am not sure which is which. -- They were packed seperatly.

Can you guys let me know which sleeves are the fronts and rears? i.e. tall sleeve or short sleeve. And also which spring is which i.e. again, tall spring and short spring.

Thanks and sorry for the idiot questions -- PS these are for a 99 EK

Is that 'short' for both sleeve and spring?!

When you get the car in the air, and the tires off, it will be self explanatory. I believe the longer springs and sleeves go up front, and the short sleeves and springs in the rear.

there is no front or rear markings on the springs since they are mass produced for a lot of applications.

Short sleeve goes in the front.
the short spring goes in the rear

Long spring w/ short sleeve in the front. Short spring with long sleeve in the rear. Look at the numbers on the springs. You want the stiffer springs in the front since these are OTS ground controls. 44 x 5.71 = 250lb rear springs. 58 x 5.71 = 330lb front springs. That's the same set and spring rate I use on my 99 civic hatchback.

Awsome, thanks. I obviously haven't got them on the car yet, but how are they on your hatch?! You like?

I have them paired with a set of kyb agx shocks. They ride very well for a budget street setup.

Make sure you contact ground control and get the baby sleeves which are used on the koni's.

Yeah got those!! Thanks

BTW: When you installed, did you find that the springs don't sit TIGHT on the shock like non-coil overs? ( You know how you have to compress the stock spring before you remove the upper mount) -- Does that make sence?
