Default Help: DX B16a Distributor Wiring

Turns out the distributor plug on my DX CRX is different from my B16a distributor so they don't plug into each other. So no problem right, just match the color codes to each other. Wrong there are two solid white wires coming out of the distributor and two solid white wires coming out of the harness. According to the manual one is for the crank angle sensor and one is for the igniter. How do I tell which is which? Do I need to take off the distributor cap to see where each one goes?

from looking at the harness.....the outer white should be your igniter...the inner white wire where the orange, orange blue...etc etc is all bundled into one wire is your crank. hope this helps.
