Different struts each year for CRX?
Went to a pick and pull and grabbed some front & rear struts from an 88 or 89 (can't really tell) crx DX or HF.
I was hoping they would fit my 91 si but the design on the bottom was different than my original struts.
Maybe the LCA is different?
Did honda make different struts with each year and model?

the 88's have different rear struts because of the lca. you will either need to go back and pic up the lca's from the crx in the junkyard. or sell the struts and get the correct one's for your lca
88 front shocks had a different brake collar for the brake lining anchors. but not that big a deal and as obvious as the rear shock and lower control arm.

Yes you will need to go back and get the rear LCAs. They(88s) are actually preferable. They make the car turn in better. They were revised in 89 because the car was said to be too twitchy. In Japan they were all like the 88's.
