Default B20Vtec ohio style: 93 octane - 194hp / 134 ft-lbs on a mustang...

Nick (nisif) finally made it to the dyno.
I'm fairly happy with how the car did considering this dyno is known for low numbers.
I'm particularly happy with how the car did considering it has a DC 4-1 header and a full 2.25" exhaust that was quiet enough I didn't even think about ear protection while dynoing the car!
Cam gears ended up at +2 intake / 0 exhaust.

car picked up a decent amount from the street tune in the 2 hours on the dyno:

And the final chart:

Nick will hopefully post more details of the setup...
What I remember:
91 DA teg
B20 bottom end, 84.5 mm bore, stock sleeves
12.5:1 rollerwaves
Endyn head
BC4 cams
AEBS intake manifold
DC4-1 header
2.25" QUIET exhaust
DSM450cc injectors, stock FPR, ~68% max duty cycle

Excellent numbers considering the header/exhaust.

On a mustang dyno my car made 184/132, and on a dynojet it did 212/154, wo thats about 15%. If you take that approx. percentage, that car is making around 223/154. Good header and good exhaust...damn.

I'm thinking a header and exhaust will easily net 15-20whp on the car considering how restrictive the exhaust side is. As it stands, it's one hell of a fun street car. Responsive, torquey, fun to drive.

Is it the "big" DC or the "little" DC?

I really don't know to be honest. I wasn't ceramic coated, know that much. Hopefully Nick will post up tomorrow with more details.

to Dave (Blundar). If you're in the area I'd highly recommend having him tune your car. I'm pretty happy with the numbers posted (that's my dyno above). In the future I'll be looking to upgrade to a better header and exhaust, maybe a 70mm tb as well. I'm also thinking about doing a tune on pure ethanol which rates roughly at 114 octane which is a lot less costly per gallon compared to race gas. We'll see, maybe a 100 shot of nitrous for ***** and giggles. Guess it's only the beginning...
Regarding the peak numbers, I was kind of surprised where it stop making peak power, I guess I expected the hp numbers to peak closer to the 9,000 rpm range, which might have to do with the restrictive exhaust setup I have at the moment.
Btw, I'll be running the car again on this Thursday so 1/4 mile times will follow this post if your interested... So far the best I've managed is 13.8, Although this is with extremely bald tires, no 4th gear (tranny probs at the moment) ,so shifting from 3rd to 5th in the quarter=Big loss, drops rpms way down and takes me out the powerband . I'm hoping for low 13's, possibly high 12's on this setup when I get everything tweaked out, might have to put the fat *** DA on a diet as well though...

Kendall: I believe it's the Jdm style DC 4-1 header (stainless steel), Actually had to modify (take a hammer) to the crossmember to provide clearance for it. I believe it's made to fit a Dc Chassis (94+) integra. At least my friend that I bought it off of had it on his 95 teg with no clearance issues.

Also wanted to give a to Larry at Endyn. Very knowledgeable guy, I've had excellent customer service from him and his headwork has definately made a contribution to this setup as well as Dave's tuning capabilities.
